Well, Lucy has finally arrived! She was born on August 19th at 6:47 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. It was such an incredible experience. Nate was able to watch all 18 hours of labor, and didn't miss a thing. We were so lucky to have that opportunity. My mother, sister and cousin were in the labor room with me, supporting me the entire time.
She is doing very well and is very alert! Lucille looks just like her father, there is no denying that. When she scowls or makes funny faces when she's sleeping all I can see is Nate, which is quite something since he's not here - and it reminds me that I've had a piece of him with me the whole time he's been away. (sappy moment, I know!)
